 TURN TO EXPERIENCE!

Florida Center for Back and Neck PainWhen you are in pain, even the simplest task or movement can become a chore. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SUFFER NEEDLESSLY WITH THIS PAIN-your road to recovery can begin NOW. Today. With relief that will get you back on your feet and back to your normal lifestyle. We see people like you every day…People in pain. Pain that interferes with your work, family life, sports and sleep. Pain that keeps you from enjoying life.

Through our 40 years of practice experience, we at the Florida Center for Back and Neck Pain have been able to develop an approach that we believe will work for you.

Our Approach begins with DIAGNOSIS. You will be given a thorough examination that includes standard medical and chiropractic tests, including orthopedic, neurological and biomechanical tests to determine the cause of your problem, and rule out other causes. This is called Differential Diagnosis.

“ Successful outcome of care with relief of your complaint begins with a thorough examination. While the cause of some problems seems obvious, many underlying conditions are silent until an accident or injury causes symptoms, which are a clue to the real problem.  We will not guess at the cause of your problem.”
Dr. Greg Hollstrom

The next step is TREATMENT.  We use state of the art equipment and the latest techniques to correct your problem and give you relief from your symptoms. Treatment may consist of hands-on Gentle Spinal Manipulation, and/or mobilization.  COX® AXIAL DECOMPRESSION/DISTRACTION if your problem includes disc herniation or spinal stenosis, or joint derangement.  We also are highly experience in the use of physical medicine modalities such as ultrasound, interferential, electrical or galvanic stimulation, mechanical traction, etc.

Florida Center for Back and Neck Pain“Manipulation has been shown in many scientific research studies to be the most cost effective and outcome-effective method of treating back and neck pain and related conditions. It is safe and painless in experience and skilled hands, and axial decompression is an exciting, state of the art adjunct to manipulation, that has been shown quick and effective relief of symptoms for those with disc herniation, sprondololisthesis and spinal stenosis..”Dr. Brian Rebori

We then move on to REHABILITATION. With specific structured exercise under the supervision of an exercise therapist, we work to correct the weakness or biomechanical disturbance that allowed the injury to occur as well as to return you to the best possible physical condition. This program is structured individually for each person—so that you can be the best you can be!  Rehab may also include home care, like ice and heat, specific exercises, and changes in the way that you do things that may be setting you up for injury, such as improper lifting, sleep and work posture.

Florida Center for Back and Neck PainSpecific exercises tailored for the exact condition that you have can prevent repeated reinjury.  Lifetime exercise programs, in conjunction with dietary considerations, and stress reduction, can keep you healthy for life”. Dr. Greg Hollstrom II.
